Director – Gary Mack
Hi fellow H.O.G.® members! My name is Gary Mack and I am the new director for the Regina H.O.G.® Chapter #9252. I have been involved with H.O.G.® for about 7 years and in those years I have been Road Captain and now Director. I have enjoyed the time and have met many new friends through our weekly rides and many events that Hog sponsors. I have been riding for over 40 years and currently ride a 2011 Ultra Classic and have a 1987 Low Rider as my toy and project. If you are a new member or a long term member or you know of someone who might want to be a H.O.G.® member bring them out to an event or get in touch with one of the executive and we will help them out.
Assistant Director – Darrell Hoffman
As a good old Saskatchewan pair, my wife and I have been married for the last 42 years. We have had the good fortune of being blessed with two children and three grandchildren. (We hope the grandchild number continues to increase).
Our son, daughter in law and granddaughter live in Port Coquitlam BC. Our daughter, son in law and two grandsons live in Regina.
The majority of my career was in the healthcare industry from which I have retired about two years ago. Being retired now allows freedom to do a lot of the things that I had wished to do over my many years of employment.
Since 1975 I have ridden a few different makes and models of motorcycles including Triumph, Yamaha and of course a couple of Harley Davidsons. My current road warrior is a 2014 Street Glide Special that has already seen over 50,000 kilometres of highway since I purchased it from Prairie Harley Davidson in Regina back in 2014.
As I had earlier stated, my son and family live in Port Coquitlam, which has given me a wonderful reason to travel my “favourite” ride every year for the past 10 years. The trip seems to be different every year, viewing what I feel is some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in the world. The reward at the end of the trip …spending time with my kids and grandchild.
If I were to speak of bucket list rides, two destinations come to the forefront. One would be a continuation of my west coast ride to Port Coquitlam, down the pacific coastline to San Francisco. The other choice would be to ride east here in Canada, and dip a toe in the Atlantic. (a place I have never been.)
For those that do not know me well, besides loving to hit the road on my Harley, I also have a passion for frustrating myself attempting to play the game of golf. When summer hits, it’s really difficult to decide not which activity to pick, but which one I do first. I manage to play 80-100 rounds of golf a year and put on 15,000 to 20,000 kilometers on my bike as well. life is fun !!!)
To finish, during this summer’s rides, I am looking forward to reuniting with familiar faces, and hopefully some new friends that I have not yet had the opportunity to meet.
Road Captain – Rob Pollock
Hi, my name is Rob Pollock, I joined the Regina HOG Chapter in 2015 when I bought my first Harley Davidson (2015 Dyna Switchback). I rode a Yamaha 920 Virago shortly after I finished high school. I then sold it and got married and raised a family. 30 years later it was time to start riding. I have since been to Rallies in Lloydminster, Red Deer and Sturgis. Over the past few years I have met a lot of great people and look forward to meeting many more. Thank you for this opportunity to represent the Regina HOG Chapter #9252 as 1 of the Head Road Captains for the upcoming riding season. I look forward to many safe rides and great times – see you soon

Mavis and I have our own Business in White City, Slack’s Accounting and Income Tax Services for 35 years. We have lived in White City for 39 years and enjoy the life here. I have also been on the town council for the last 14 years. I restated riding in 1999 after 30 years away from the bike. I Purchased a Honda Gold wing to get back into the swing of riding again, I purchased my 2005 Harley Davidson Ultra in 2005 and have added a 2008 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic anniversary colors to match my 2008 Ford F350 Harley- Davidson® truck. I have made the trip to Sturgis for the last 14 years and plan to make the trip as long as I am breathing, the riding is great and a lot to see. In 2013 I made the trip to Milwaukee for the 110 anniversary of Harley-Davidson® what a great time with great company (had a Blast except for Minot – hence DZL – 11 plates). The Riding Rally from Lloydminster, Saskatoon, Yorkton and Regina was a great ride had a blast putting it on and enjoyed the company and meeting new riders from all over the country on the ride.
Secretary – Ron Samways
I have been a H.O.G.® member since 2008 when I first started riding and have been Chapter secretary since November of that year.
My first ride was a 2008 Sportster 1200 XL, a bike that truly was ‘sporty’ and a lot of fun to ride. In 2014 I got my present bike, a Softail Breakout.
Both bikes have taken me on many adventures and I know there are many more to come.

Activities Director – Jim Leech
Hey Everyone. My name is Jim Leech and I am happy to be the new activities director.
I have been riding since the early 80’s and currently have a couple of Harley’s, 07 Soft Tail Custom and a 14 Street Glide Special. I am also a member of the Prairie Gophers and act as their treasure or the “Money Man”. I am happily divorced and have surrounded myself with some very great friends who shared the passion for riding. In 2011, when I was diagnosed with Cancer, my soft tail was my saving grace. The only time that I was able to take my mind off it was when I was riding down the highway. The freedom and fresh air works wonders to clear your head!
With the help of yourselves, the HOG members, and executive, I am confident we can come up with some fun events which will give everyone a chance to meet other members and hopefully form some lasting friendships. We are always looking for new ideas to do as a group, so if you have any ideas, please email or message me. firstname.lastname@example.org or 306-737-9195

Safety Officer –Kelly Aikens
Dear Fellow Members: I have been a HOG member for a number of years, but did not participate in the Thursday Night Rides until last year. I enjoyed the camaraderie so much I decided to become more active in the club. I purchased my first Harley in 2007. I currently own a 2016 Heritage Classic and a 2014 Triglide. In the last 10 years I have rode in 12 states and 3 western provinces. 2017 is going to be an exciting year and I encourage members who have not been active to come out to the Thursday Night Rides. You’ve invested in the Ironhorse, Thursday Night gives you perfect reason to saddle up and ride with the posse!
Chapter Photographer – Samantha Stom-Anthony
Hello Fellow Riders: My name is Samantha Stom-Anthony, and I am the official Regina H.O.G.® Chapter Photographer. Capturing memories is a passion of mine, so this position was a perfect fit. I have been taking pictures at H.O.G.® events for a few years, so it was time to make it official – got the patch and everything!!
My husband, Kurt, and I have been involved with H.O.G.® for the past several years. Sadly, we are unable to make many of the Thursday night H.O.G.® members’ rides because we coach Special Olympics Soccer. But that doesn’t stop us from riding every chance we get. Long road trips are our dream…and the only thing that keeps us going through the long Saskatchewan winters when we are plagued with PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome). We are looking forward to logging thousands of miles in the upcoming riding season!
I have been riding since 1990, even though my love of motorcycles started long before that on the back of my dad’s motorcycle. Currently, I ride a classic, black and white, 2007 Softail Deluxe, which I absolutely adore.
Remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. For me, those moments happen when I’m riding my bike! See you on the open road!
Ladies of Harley® – Wendy Funk
I love being your L.O.H.® Officer. In 2012 I bought my first Harley Davidson, a beautiful deep purple Street Glide®. Since that time the purple Dragon and I have put over 80,000 km riding through Canada and the United States together including solo rides through six states and three provinces and an amazing ride to Yellowknife, NWT for Summer Solstice.
Whether you ride solo or as a passenger, the L.O.H.® promote lady’s participation in the world of Harley-Davidson®. We are a group of women who enjoy organizing and participating in social, travel and charitable events resulting in everlasting friendships, where laughter is heard and memories are made.
I am very proud to be one of the founders of “Lady Riders of Saskatchewan”. Lady Riders was founded by the L.O.H.® Officers from Regina, Saskatoon, and Yorkton to promote Lady Riders who ride their own bike regardless of the model. Please join us on Facebook (Lady Riders of Saskatchewan and Lady Riders of Regina) to follow our “Lady Riders Only” rides and events. If you are not on facebook, please contact me anytime if you need a riding partner email@example.com
Life is short. Love honestly and fully. Laugh easy. Ride often and free. And… Never regret anything that made you smile or that made someone else happy.
