Prostate Cancer has given too many men their last rides, so please join “The Annual Motorcycle Ride for the Boys” on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Register between 10 and 11 a.m. If you are unable to attend the ride, please consider making a donation. (online donations available soon!)
It’s just $25 to register for the ride and all proceeds go to the Prostate Assessment Centre. Registration is at Prairie Harley Davidson and lunch will be donated and supplied by Joe’s European Deli and Joe’s Gluten Free. Download “Ride for the Boys” poster or a copy of the Ride Announcement for sharing (see bottom of page).
Prairie Harley Davidson and the Regina and area motorcycle community has done an outstanding job for months at following all guidelines, regulations, and precautions that have been requested/mandated by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). We have all, in effect, shut down our lives for 3 months and self-isolated/quarantined. As such, we are confident that with everyone’s compliance and diligence this will be a safe and fun ride for everyone with the appropriate precautions in place.
Outdoor gatherings may have a maximum of 150 people provided a two metre separation can be maintained at all times between individuals who are not in the same household. We ask that everyone follow this precaution and if you are visiting, use the entire parking lot and avoid close clusters.
The ride will look a little different this year and we want to make sure that everyone is safe and aware of all the protocols we have put in place. The committee is doing everything they can to make sure that everyone is safe!! Current public gathering restrictions must be followed. Enhanced cleaning and disinfection will be taking place at Prairie for all common areas.
Please consider registering and riding out with your current extended households to each of the assigned “poker stops” to get your card!
Raffle tickets will be sold at 1 table. 50/50’s at another and 4 separate Registration tables will be set up in different areas in the parking lot. Everything will be set up to allow for only 6 at a table and 25 in each area. Please make sure that there are no more than 30 people within each of our set up “zones” at any given time. Please stay within your “current extended households” as much as possible and maintain a 6 foot distance from others.
When you register, you will receive a lunch ticket and that ticket will have a time on it so that we can rotate people on a continual basis and have enough room for people to sit and enjoy their lunch before we need to disinfect the tables for the next round of participants coming in.
PLEASE BRING A PEN FOR THIS EVENT.
Please remember and follow all the current regulations including but not limited to:
